We are keeping it adorably cozy today with the Autumn Orchard Hat Pattern! This pattern is super squishy the way the stitches work up, but we are still using worsted weight yarn so it isn’t too chunky and heavy for the milder fall weather. One of my favorite yarns is Lion Brand Heartland and it has a beautiful color palette that really lends itself to the fall season. Pick two of these colors and make one or five of these baby beanies!
I’m happy to share this design with the Preemie Crochet Challenge today! This is one of the best crochet events of the year, filled with beautiful patterns to support families struggling with the realities of a NICU stay for their tiniest treasures! I hope you’ll accept the challenge and make at least one item to donate.
You’ll be able to download the pattern straight from ravelry, no code needed, totally free until the end of the month of September! keep going through this blog post and look for the yellow button. Many of the other patterns in the event are also available free until the end of the month, so definitely check back through the previous days and pledge to make for your local NICU!
I will offer the pattern for free usage here on my blog indefinitely! This helps support my business through ad revenue. Read through here for all the pattern details and then you can go download the PDF!

To Whom It May Concern,
The download button takes you to Ravelry showing you can add the pattern to your library but doesn’t have a download button for the pdf. Can someone help with this?
Thank you in advance for your help with this.
I have same problem
Hi Peggy!
I honestly don’t know what went wrong, we checked it last night! It should work now!
Peggy, I had the same problem. Some of the designers are in way different time zones, and have the codes set to work at their time zone. Sometimes Ravelry is just difficult. Maybe check back later in the day, as I’m sure this will be addressed. Both this designer and the blog hop creator/sponsor are wonderful.
