Classic Hairbow Crochet Pattern

From time to time, I like to wear a fun hair accessory. This one is more of a everyday accessory, so I’m happy to introduce to you the Everyday Hairbow! You’ll make this classic hairbow crochet pattern over and over again because it is quick to make and the texture is a unique pattern. The other great thing about this pattern is that you could customize and make it versatile. I wrote the pattern with CYC 3 DK cotton yarn, but you can use lighter yarn for a little bow or thicker yarn for a big statement piece.

I love the stitch pattern I created for this hairbow! The way you work in the front loops give it a really nice texture. You’ll work up three separate pieces and then seam them together. Then you can attach the bow to a hair tie or clip. I think these are a great little gift pattern to have in your arsenal when you want to give handmade but you are short on time.

I used Cotlin yarn from KnitPicks/Crochet.com. P.S. Weird rant: I hate that the “crochet” counterpart isn’t really WeCrochet anymore. It makes it hard to write about the company, like I can’t say oh it’s Cotlin yarn from Crochet. End rant. I like this yarn! The colors are so pretty and it is an easier cotton to work with than others.
